I am a Beijing based artist. I create, then everything I created, exist just like me. When the answer is the question itself, all that we do is to deceive - mostly ourselves. Less is less.

Ruoqi Tang, born on the 8th April 1986, is a Chinese artist based in Beijing. He believes in a sublime beauty, which is an everlasting pursuit and the inevitable failure of it. He thinks that knowing that beauty leads to agony and contradiction.

He constantly asks himself “what is the meaning of life?”. He thinks that most of the answers are fraudulent and the only meaning of life is its existence.

He simplifies every existence to its original essence. He likes vague things, any clear expression for him represents a limitation.

“Agony”, “Contradiction”, “Existence”, "Simplicity" and "Vagueness" are the main elements in his works. He likes to make experiments using mixed materials.
